Inbuilding DAS Engineer

CED Systems is seeking a DAS Field Engineer to implement and optimize Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for improved wireless coverage. This role involves site surveys, system design, installation, and maintenance, working closely with clients and team members to ensure efficient deployment of DAS solutions. The engineer will also work with customers, carriers, and other partners to achieve desired coverage needs.

Requirements

• Expert RF Engineer and Inbuilding DAS specialist
• Troubleshooting and analysis skills for walk tests log files
• Hands-on experience with DAS OEM commissioning vendors (Commscope, SOLiD, Corning, JMA)
• Knowledge of wireless technologies (CDMA, EVDO, GSM, W-CDMA, LTE, Wi-Fi)
• Strong knowledge of RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, JDSU, Anritsu, Solutelia)
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling (CATx)
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret RF designs
• Mechanical aptitude and hand/power tools skills
• Proficient in basic electronic and RF theory
• Proficient in installation, termination, and testing of fiber systems and low voltage cabling systems
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Strong focus on continuous process improvement
