Inbuilding DAS Engineer

CED Systems is seeking an Inbuilding DAS Engineer to implement and optimize Distributed Antenna System (DAS) solutions for clients in the telecommunications industry. The role involves conducting site surveys, installing/commissioning equipment, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient deployment of DAS networks. This position requires a strong understanding of RF technologies and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Expert RF Engineer and Inbuilding DAS specialist with deep optimization skills and design experience.
• 3+ years working in the radio frequency industry designing, optimizing, analyzing performance, and troubleshooting repeaters, iDAS, oDAS, and Small Cells for 5G and LTE networks.
• Working knowledge of various wireless technologies (e.g. CDMA, EVDO, GSM, W-CDMA, LTE and Wi-Fi).
• Strong working knowledge of RF test equipment (e.g. Spectrum Analyzer, JDSU, Anritsu, Solutelia, etc.).
• Strong working knowledge of structured cabling (e.g. CATx etc.).
• Proficient in basic electronic and RF theory, and antenna types and uses.
• Proficient in installation, termination, and testing of fiber systems and low voltage cabling systems.
• Excellent computer skills, including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong focus on continuous process improvement; ability to develop and improve processes.
• Strong time management and self-organization skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
