Job Description
The Center for Justice Innovation (the Center) is dedicated to advancing equity and racial justice through innovative programs, research, and expert assistance to reformers across the country. Since 2011, the Brownsville Community Justice Center (BCJC), an operating project of the Center, has been serving communities and justice systems to improve public safety and create opportunities for residents to thrive. Requirements
- Supervise and support a team of social workers, advocates, mentors and social work interns
- Oversee all aspects of individual support, counseling, and advocacy
- Collaborate with the Manager of Community Initiatives and program coordinators
- Provide strategic direction to enhance the role of social work at the Justice Center
- Lead resource development for the Social Work/Community Healing Team
- Data collection, analysis, and reporting
