Direct Care Aide

This position provides quality long-term care to residents with developmental disabilities in a residential and employment program. Responsibilities include daily caregiving, communicating with residents, and promoting their individual rights and dignity.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Successful completion of the DDCA training program
• Current DDCA certification in Oklahoma
• Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
• Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills
• Auditory and visual skills
• Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items weighing 50 pounds or less
• Satisfactory completion of post-offer, pre-employment physical
