Job Description
The Center Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the Center Director in managing and supervising staff, program, and day-to-day operations of a childcare center in the absence of the Center Director and Assistant Director. This role focuses on administrative support and reception for center operations, providing case management and ensuring the safety and security of children and families, as well as supporting other child development centers. The position may also involve activities such as supporting screening and assessment processes.
Requirements
- Contributes to providing quality service delivery for children and families.
- Assists the Director and Assistant Director in ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.
- Ensures families and children are referred and/or connected to community resources.
- Sets up and maintains a comprehensive filing system.
- Supports child screening and assessment process.
- Adheres to Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards.
- Communicates professionally with parents/guardians.
