Job Description
The Histotechnologist role involves performing histology laboratory procedures, including gross processing of specimens, embedding and processing tissue, and creating and labeling microscope slides. The role requires a highly organized individual who can work efficiently and safely in a team environment.
Requirements
- A.A.S. degree is required
- Minimum of one year of experience histology or clinical laboratory experience required
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
