Histotechnologist

Histotechnologist position at Urology Austin, improving patient lives through compassionate, quality, and ethical care. Prepares microscopic tissue slides for diagnostic/research purposes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• A minimum of two years experience in a histology laboratory setting
• HT certification by the ASCP (American Society for Pathology Services)
• Knowledge of programming and operation of Histology related IHC equipment
• Basic knowledge of Windows Office Products
• Basic knowledge of data entry and patient demographics
• Ability to approach problems/decisions analytically
• Excellent communication and verbal skills
