Assistant Superintendent

Central Stone Company is seeking an Assistant Quarry Superintendent to lead production activities and promote mine safety at our Fort Bellefontaine Quarry in Florissant, MO. Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in quarry operations with comprehensive understanding of crushers, screens, conveyors and operation of mobile equipment
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Strong team-building and coaching skills
• A commitment to integrity
• Self-motivation with a strong ability to work independently or as part of a team
• An attitude of continuous improvement
• An ability to utilize an objective approach to problem solving
• An ability to build staff support and exhibit negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal, written (report writing), and presentation
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Tools or ability to learn
• A valid driver's license with good driving record
