Support the operation and reliability of CERN's electronics pool equipment by testing, qualifying and maintaining electronic instruments used in high-energy physics experiments and laboratories.
Requirements
- Testing electronics equipment and instrumentation, identifying faults and carrying out firmware and hardware fixes
- Creating and correcting test procedure documentation when required
- Maintaining hardware and software of existing test benches in collaboration with the responsible technicians
- Participating in the daily operations of the electronics pool service and provide occasional support to the service users
