Staff Data Engineer

CertifID is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to help build and scale their data platform, leveraging expertise in cloud data platforms, orchestration tools, and real-time data processing to mitigate risks and ensure secure transactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a staff-level data engineer in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience in leading teams of other engineers to build a long-term technical vision and plans to achieve it.
• Deep expertise in cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
• Strong programming skills in Python or Scala, and proficiency with SQL.
• Experience with real-time data processing (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming) and data modeling for analytics and ML.
• A growth mindset, strong ownership, and a passion for solving complex problems that matter.
