Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer II

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer II to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system engineering, experience in space technology, and the ability to be the technical point of contact for a spacecraft architecture trades and subsystem requirement development. The candidate will work closely with the engineering team and program management to ensure the successful build and launch of the company's satellite.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical engineering preferred)
• A minimum of 6 years of experience with emphasis in spacecraft design
• Practical experience with space vehicle electrical power subsystems
• Experience with a requirements management tool such as DOORS or Jama
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Ability to define work direction, track milestones, and demonstrate progress on large open-ended projects.
• Sense of urgency, with the ability to work well under pressure.
• The ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams.
