Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time or per diem basis during weekends. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering psychiatric care to hospitalized patients, working closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in New Jersey
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is highly preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and patient-centered care
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards in practice
