Mechanical Design Systems Engineer III

Chart is seeking a Mechanical Design Systems Engineer III to perform design engineering functions, including overall machine and equipment package design, and create production drawings and bills of material for Reciprocating Compressors Packages in North America.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of engineering calculations, drawings, and bills of material
• Familiarity with industry standards (ANSI, ASME, ASTM, API, MIL, SAE)
• Proficient in engineering software (Creo, ANSYS, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office tools
• Knowledge of heavy industrial fabrication, welding standards, and mechanical systems (lubrication, cooling, gas lines)
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently
