Maintenance Technician

Wieland is hiring a Maintenance Technician to work in our East Alton, IL facility. The role involves performing quality repairs, making decisions on mechanical repairs, and working with the operations department to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years' heavy industrial/maintenance experience or an apprenticeship certification
• Experience with mounting and setting equipment, repairing mechanical transmission equipment, and repairing fluid power systems
• Ability to stand, balance, walk, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, twist, or crouch
• Dependable and consistent attendance
• Ability to work mandatory OT
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
