Quality Engineer

Wieland is hiring a Quality Engineer to improve production processes and material quality. The role involves implementing quality policies, evaluating base stock materials, and adjusting processing routers.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science
• 1-5 years' experience in a quality engineering role or similar work experience equivalent
• Experience in the metals processing industry for copper-base and stainless-steel alloys - preferred
• Understanding of metals processing equipment and their capabilities
• Knowledgeable in ISO 9000, TS 16949 standards
• Effective Root Cause analysis skills
• Familiarity with SPC, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Quality Improvement Techniques
• Certified Six Sigma - Minimum – yellow belt– preferred
