Job Description
The Middle School Teachers are the heartbeat of East Tennessee's only public, bilingual school. They will be responsible for the daily implementation of the ChattAcademy vision and the first line of support for students and families. They will have the opportunity to establish the school's academic program, policies, and procedures alongside the leadership team.
Requirements
- 3+ years teaching experience at the middle school level
- Knowledge of effective instructional methods and behavior management strategies
- Strong content expertise in core subjects (ELA, math, science, social studies, physical education)
- Commitment to social-emotional learning and whole child development
- Growth mindset and passion for shaping school culture and norms
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- TN Teacher's Licensure
