Facilities Engineering Lead - Static Equipment

The Chevron Engineering and Innovation Excellence Center (ENGINE) in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Facilities Engineering Lead - Static Equipment. The role involves supervising, coaching, and mentoring a team of facilities - mechanical engineers and providing leadership and guidance on standard tools and processes. The successful candidate will have experience in a complex refinery or chemical processing environment and be able to adapt to different cultural environments.

Requirements

• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop Facilities - Mechanical Engineers
• Set clear expectations and support creation and management of the team's performance and development plans
• Partner with customers and stakeholders to prioritize the team's workload
• Collaborate with other Facilities Engineering Leads to manage the Design Engineering department organizational capabilities and competencies
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset and remove barriers to achieve simple, fit-for-purpose solutions
• Provide leadership in sharing information and resources across the Business Units
• Leverage expertise and knowledge of piping systems and codes, pressure vessel design, leak seal methods, hydraulic calculations, process equipment selection & sizing, equipment procurement, field construction & repair practices, process safety information, management of change work process and process control & monitoring
