I&E Facility Engineer

Chevron ENGINE has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Engineer – Mechanical to join the projects & engineering team. Reporting to the Facilities Engineer – Mechanical Lead, this role will be based in Chevron’s office in Bengaluru. The I&E Designs Engineering team provides remote technical support for operations, turnaround scope development, and projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of site-based facility experience in a brownfield environment.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as an I&E Engineer directly supporting operations at a complex refinery, LNG facility, or similar petrochemical environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in instrumentation or electrical engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a recognized (AICTE) university.
• Knowledge of field instrumentation and controls including sensors, transmitters, final control elements, process control systems, communication protocols and wiring practices.
• Proven ability to specify, purchase, support install and commission and troubleshoot field instrumentation and electrical components and systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Interface effectively with Operators, Mechanics, Vendors, Contractors, Management and other parties to meet business objectives.
