The Financial Crimes Quality Assurance Consultant is responsible for performing and assisting in the creation of quality assurance of BSA/AML/Fraud processes. This role will assist in developing and executing a risk-based Quality Assurance (QA) program focused on the review of the design, effectiveness, and overall quality of the Choice Bank Financial Crimes Compliance program as it relates to applicable regulations and adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a financial crimes/anti-money laundering group.
- 2+ years of experience in the execution of quality assurance/control testing processes associated with financial crime controls
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive efficient resolution of decisions and tasks, escalate items requiring attention, and proactive approach at problem solving and continuous improvement
- Effective communication skills—both verbal and written
- CAMS (Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist) certification or pursing certification preferred
- Familiarity with BSA/AML regulations and basic risk concepts.
