Job Description
This position is central to the missionaries' role to 'Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.'
Requirements
- Provide instruction, direction, counsel, and feedback to missionaries
- Plan and prepare lessons following approved curriculum
- Direct missionaries in planning and accounting for their learning
- Attend weekly training meetings and participate in co-teacher meetings
- Assist area leadership in coordinating with mission and Missionary Department leadership
- Report on needs and progress of assigned tasks to leadership
- Coach missionaries in preparation for and during practice and live lessons
- Assess the proficiency level of missionaries and teacher applicants in the target language
