We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist to lead comprehensive communication strategies for the Department of Community Planning and Development (CPD). The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and public relations, with a strong understanding of technical information and complex processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Four (4) years of full performance, professional level experience performing marketing and/or public relations functions
- Excellent writing, editing and content management skills
- Experience in journalism and/or media relations
- Familiarity with governmental processes and managing information requests
- Efficiently demonstrates excellent time/work management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledgeable of rules for ADA accessibility for electronic communication
