Job Description
The Homelessness Systems and Operations Unit is responsible for planning and managing the effective functioning, coordination and monitoring of the homelessness service system. As a Community Development Coordinator, you will act as a single point of access for businesses/housed residents and communities, establish and maintain relationships to enhance collaboration and resource sharing, and develop and implement strategies for increasing community engagement.
Requirements
- Completion of 4 year university degree in Social Work, Health, Recreation, Communications, Leisure Studies, Physical Education, Business or Public Administration, or directly related field
- Minimum of 6 years of progressively more responsible experience in community focused programs and projects of increasing complexity
- Current Standard First Aid, CPR and/or AED certificates are assets
- AODA Accessibility/IASR Training
- High Five training courses are assets
