The Ottawa Police Service is seeking candidates to join their team as a police officer. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Ontario driver's license, and be of good moral character. Selected candidates will undergo training at the Ontario Police College and will work a rotating 24-hour shift, 7 days a week.

Requirements

• Meet the minimum hiring standards
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid Ontario driver's license or equivalent provincial license
• Be of good moral character
• Possess a valid PREP (Police Physical Readiness Evaluation) certificate
• Meet the minimum standards for hearing and vision
• Pass a security clearance, background check, and credit check
• Complete first aid and CPR courses before being hired
