Project Manager, Transit Fleet and Facility Projects

The Transit Fleet and Facilities Maintenance team provides safe, reliable, efficient, timely and cost-effective transit vehicle maintenance services to support federally regulated transit services within the City. The Project Manager, Transit Fleet and Facility Projects is responsible for developing/implementing strategies and managing total project delivery with a focus on condition assessment, improvement, and renewal/rehabilitation of transit fleet vehicles, facilities, and physical assets of the linear network.

Requirements

• Completion of 4 year university degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Applied Science
• Minimum of 5 years of related and progressively responsible experience in the design, construction and rehabilitation of facilities fleet vehicles or network (linear) physical infrastructure
• Knowledge of transit operations and trends
• Possess an understanding of asset acquisition/lifecycle management of major transit assets, programs and processes
• Possess an understanding of principles of project management, including project design, development, implementation cost containment/control, evaluation methods/techniques, risk management and reporting
