The City of Portales is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the city's parks, recreational facilities, and cemetery. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a regular work schedule of 40 hours per week. The role involves light maintenance, general operations, and occasional heavy lifting and physical exertion.

Requirements

• Digging and closing of graves at cemetery.
• Watering, mowing, and trimming of lawns, shrubs, and trees.
• Minor maintenance on sprinkler systems.
• Assist custodian with cleaning and other custodial functions.
• Hauling and shoveling of dirt and snow.
• Preparing City Pool.
