FSRI is seeking a candidate to provide in-person trauma-informed crisis intervention services, clinical assessment, and emergency screening in partnership with the East Providence Police Department.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.)
- Independently licensed or eligible to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
- Excellent crisis management and intervention skills
- Training in childhood trauma, trauma assessment, and triage
- Experience working with law enforcement strongly preferred
- Knowledge of East Providence community highly preferred
- Previous experience working with children, adults, and families in a clinical setting preferred as well as knowledge of the impact of traumatic stress
