Job Description
FSRI is seeking a Part Time or Full Time HIV Testing and Prevention Specialist to coordinate HIV/HCV testing and sexual health education activities in the community. Responsibilities include staff, coordinating at-home testing programs, and developing volunteer teams. Flexibility and the ability to work outside of traditional hours are required.
Requirements
- Two years of relevant work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Documentation of completed Rhode Island Qualified Professional Test Counselor training (or willingness to complete)
- Documentation of completing Certification as a Community Health Worker (or willingness to complete)
- Knowledge of LGBTQ+ communities, racial and ethnic minorities, and individuals impacted by HIV and substance abuse
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel throughout Rhode Island
