Seeds to Trees College Internship (Fall Season)

City Parks Foundation (CPF) is seeking up to three college interns for a Seeds to Trees program to educate elementary and middle school students about urban ecology, forest ecology, marine ecology, parks stewardship, and conservation in NYC Parks. This is a 12-16 week seasonal position, focused on classroom and outdoor field experiences. Interns will assist with program implementation, provide logistical support, and help drive data collection.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Environmental Education/Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field
• Knowledge of/Experience in Environmental Science and Education (a plus)
• Commitment to helping middle and elementary students develop interest in Environmental Science and NYC Parks
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work at least 2-3 weekdays, 9am-3pm
• Ability to work outdoors
