Seeds to Trees Seasonal Lead Educator

City Parks Foundation is seeking a Part-Time Environmental Educator to join their Seeds to Trees program in New York City. The role focuses on educating elementary and middle school students about urban ecology, forest ecology, and conservation through classroom sessions and outdoor field experiences. This seasonal position involves implementing lesson plans and maintaining educational resources.

Requirements

• Provide direct instruction using the Seeds to Trees curriculum.
• Contribute to workshops and professional development with Seeds to Trees partners.
• Work with the Associate Director of Environmental Education and other staff.
• Maintain education department resources.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work a limited number of Saturdays.
