Sidewalk Plow Operator

The City of Ottawa is seeking experienced Sidewalk Plow Operators to manage and maintain the urban and rural transportation network. This includes snow removal, patching, and road maintenance. The role requires operating equipment and adhering to safety regulations, with a focus on various locations within Ottawa and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Completion of Grade 10
• Minimum of seven (7) months Operator experience
• Valid Ontario unrestricted DZ class driver’s licence (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points
• Valid Ontario unrestricted G class driver’s licence (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points
• KNOWLEDGE of applicable occupational health and safety legislation
• Language requirement: English oral, reading, writing
