Job Description
The IT / Network Systems Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting IT and networking infrastructure for a 24/7 Renewable Energy Remote Operations Center.
Requirements
- Design, configure, and maintain secure private and public network environments
- Manage IP addressing, DNS, routing, NAT, and network segmentation
- Configure and support secure VPN tunnels for internal staff, vendors, and customers
- Administer and support Cisco network switches
- Configure, maintain, and monitor Palo Alto firewalls, including GlobalProtect VPN
- Implement cybersecurity controls aligned with NERC CIP requirements
- Support secure remote access to operational systems
- Configure and maintain virtual server environments
- Administer Windows Server and Linux server systems
- Provide IT support for ROC internal networking and ISP connectivity
- Support telecom and phone systems, including call recording
- Assist customers with secure access to remote renewable energy sites
- Support performance monitoring and data analytics systems
- Support and help drive ROC Operator efficiency initiatives
