Engineering Manager: Infrastructure Capacity Tooling

Cloudflare is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead data, tools, forecasts, and platforms for Capacity Planning and other key functions. The role focuses on building, operationalizing, and scaling tools to support demand growth while improving operating margins. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert with experience leading a team and a passion for innovation. It's a hybrid position with opportunities for remote work.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of management experience
• At least 8 years of hands-on software development experience
• Comfortable leading and hiring a team that builds the backend bits and frontend widgets
• Technical expert who can guide and develop the team in their architectural and coding skills
• Ability to do deep code reviews
• Experience implementing tools, process, internal instrumentation, methodologies and resolving blockages
• Experience with operationalizing and scaling ML Forecasting models
• Experience with DCIM, CMDB, IPAM, and other Data Center and Asset Lifecycle Management tools
