Engineering Manager, Infrastructure

BenchSci is seeking an Engineering Manager - Infrastructure to lead their Platform Infrastructure Group. This role will focus on supporting the growth of their development tooling, cloud infrastructure, and engineering practices, collaborating with technical partners to ensure reliability, performance, and security. The manager will also drive and improve infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in a similar role in a SaaS or similar industry
• In-depth experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience developing, maintaining, and scaling CI/CD pipelines
• Experience developing, maintaining, and scaling build tools for supporting large monorepo codebases and service-oriented architectures
• Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code solutions such as Terraform or KCC
• A deep understanding of containerization, and extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Expert knowledge of observability tools and techniques in a cloud-native environment
• Experience working with Python, Javascript, or similar programming languages
• Experience as a People Manager
