Job Description
Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Substance Abuse Peer Support Specialist to assist patients recovering from addictions to opioids and other illicit substances in a supportive, engaging environment. This role involves providing guidance, coaching, and support to individuals seeking recovery, leveraging prior experience and participating in a benefits package. The company is committed to helping individuals recover from substance use disorders.
Requirements
- Live experience with a substance use disorder and living in recovery
- Ability to work in a variety of settings including CMS clinics, community-based outpatient settings, and correctional health facilities
- Willingness to occasional weekend and holiday shifts
- Valid Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Clearance
