Peer Support

Compass Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and supportive Certified Peer Support Specialist to join their interdisciplinary team, providing peer support services and assisting clients with determining personal goals for recovery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with community resources
• Good interpersonal skills
• Interest in working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness and their families
• Self-identification as a present or former primary consumer of mental health services
• Ability to work as a member of a treatment team
• Current, valid Driver's License
• Ability to obtain training and certification per the State of Kansas contract
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Training
