JANITORIAL SUPERVISOR

The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for supervising, inspecting, and controlling all custodial and related services within assigned contracts. Specific responsibilities will be determined by client expectations and at the discretion of the Director of Operations.

Requirements

• Properly allocate work responsibilities among subordinates
• Supervises and coordinates the work activities of assigned areas
• Approves vacation time, overtime, and timecards
• Ability to train custodians on work-related equipment
• Supervises, motivates, disciplines, and evaluates staff
• Meet periodically with subordinates to review status of various elements of facility services
• Monitors supply use inventory
• Ensures all equipment in proper working condition
