Job Description
The Maintenance Automation Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving automation, controls, and technology systems and equipment. They will work on site at the Council Bluffs location and report to the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
- Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
- Regular attendance to ensure production requirements are met
- Ability to be flexible and shift priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment
- Read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to manufacturing including Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals
- Develop positive working relationships, working individually and with others as a team
- Communicate difficult concepts to non-technical individuals
- Travel for training and continuous improvement activities
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
