Associate Buyer

We are seeking an Associate Buyer to manage specific vendor lines, negotiate best prices, and resolve product packaging and receiving issues. The Associate Buyer will work under supervision of the Senior Manager, Purchasing, and will participate in new contract terms and pricing for new products and vendors.

Requirements

• Procures product at aggressive pricing through multiple sources
• Prepares purchase orders in accordance with company policy
• Determines best source of supply, and second/third supply option
• Negotiates lowest cost possible
• Resolves product-packaging issues
• Resolves receiving issues
• Improves vendor relations
