This full-time Safety Manager-Self Perform role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's safety program across the Northeast region, ensuring compliance with CCC and all regulatory safety requirements. This position focuses on fostering a proactive safety culture, conducting site visits, providing training, investigating incidents, and managing subcontractors. It involves coordinating safety efforts, maintaining documentation, and working closely with Superintendents.
Requirements
- Maintain company-wide safety policies and job-specific safety plans.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Lead frequent trainings and meetings at the corporate/ regional and self perform level.
- Perform hazard assessments and implement corrective actions to reduce risk.
- Ensure proper use and availability of PPE and fall protection systems.
- Monitor subcontractors’ safety compliance and coordinate site-wide safety efforts.
- Train employees on fall protection, NFPA Hot Work, First aid CPR, MEWP training, Forklift Certification, etc.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and lead root cause analysis.
