Job Description
Covenant Medical Group is seeking a CODER ANALYST to analyze medical record documentation for ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing guidelines. The role involves verifying data, utilizing coding standards, and assisting with billing and quality assurance. The position offers a full-time, 80-hour-per-payperiod work schedule at Covenant Medical Management.
Requirements
- Reviews medical record documentation to determine coding requirements.
- Accurately abstracts and codes procedures in accordance with CPT-4 and ICD-10 coding standards.
- Verifies data in the medical record for accuracy and timely billing.
- Participates in quality coding and audit reviews.
- Communicates coding questions to the Operations Manager and other colleagues.
