LPN

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position available at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Full-time position with 72 hours per pay period, day shift, alternating weekends and holidays. Provides direct nursing care to patients and assists with patient/family health education.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, hospital policies and procedures, infection control, and fire and safety regulations
• Previous experience in department specialty preferred
• Current licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or temporary permit to practice
• Certification in life support program(s) specific to unit(s) worked (CPR, ACLS, NALS)
