Job Description
Credit Genie is seeking a General Counsel to be a trusted legal partner for the CEO, executive team, and board. This role will focus on shaping legal strategy for a fintech company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving business success. The ideal candidate will have deep fintech expertise and a forward-thinking approach.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
- 10+ years of legal experience, with 5+ years in a senior in-house role at a fintech or high-growth tech company.
- Deep expertise in credit and lending regulations, preferably in the fintech industry.
- Proven track record in structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Strong understanding of data privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection laws in a fintech context.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
