Gymnastics Coach

We’re looking for a Gymnastics Coach to join our team! No experience? No problem! We’ll train you on everything you need to know. Just bring your enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn! The Gymnastics Coach will be responsible for working with children, teens, and/or adults to promote the enjoyment of gymnastics and movement by providing high-quality instruction and guidance.

Requirements

• Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational gymnastics classes
• Provides appropriate supervision at all times
• Helps create class lesson plans
• Builds effective, authentic relationships with participants and parents
• Treats participants fairly and equally
• Builds excitement for the sport of gymnastics
• Celebrates achievement of program participants
• Communicates progress with parents/guardians
• Keeps accurate class attendance records
• Ensures completion of daily equipment checks and completes daily cleaning tasks
• Obtains and maintains required certifications
• Supports mission, vision, and direction of the Crossroads YMCA
• Actively promotes all YMCA programs and activities
• Be knowledgeable and supportive of the YMCA annual support campaign
