Technical Director

Crytek has an exciting position for an experienced and ambitious Technical Director to join Hunt: Showdown. The Technical Director will collaborate closely with the Core Leadership Team to own and drive the project's success, defining and executing the game's technology strategy, ensuring efficient development pipelines, scalable architecture, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

• Shipped at least one AAA game in a technical leadership role, preferably from early development through live operations.
• Deep knowledge of C++, systems programming and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of NPC AI creation.
• BSc in Engineering or similar.
• Expertise in game architecture, tools/pipeline design, cloud services, and live systems.
• Proven leadership experience managing senior engineers and building strong tech teams.
• Excellent communicator, comfortable with strategic decision-making and hands-on technical involvement.
• Passionate about building great games, enabling developers, and delivering stable, high-quality live services.
