Job Description
Cummins is seeking a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join the Distribution Business in Normal, IL. The role involves repairing generators, maintaining customers, performing preventative maintenance, and adhering to health and safety regulations. Opportunities for development and increased compensation are offered.
Requirements
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
- Basic Diesel Engine experience
- Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
- Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation
- Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Current relevant electrical certification
- Locally valid driving permit
