Specifications Writer

Cuningham is seeking a Specs Writer specializing in architecture to collaborate with project teams and deliver high-quality project documentation on small and medium-scale projects. This role focuses on preparing specifications, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with client needs. Candidates near office locations are preferred.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Architecture; architectural license preferred.
• CSI CCS certification preferred.
• Minimum of six years of architectural experience.
• Minimum of three years of specifications writing experience.
• Relevant professional experience in design and documentation.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in SpecLink Cloud, MS Office, Bluebeam; familiarity with Revit/BIM 360 preferred or willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability, and regenerative design.
