We are seeking an Engineer to operate and maintain an industry leading data acquisition system, make design phase contributions, and develop customer compliant ordering data. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other equivalent field of study, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in industry.
Requirements
- BS in Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other equivalent field of study
- Minimum 2 years' experience in industry
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Basic understandings of pump design, operation and construction
- Ability to read and create drawings/blueprints, to include GD&T
- Drafting and 3D modeling (SolidWorks and AutoCAD)
- Experience with Rotating Machinery or Complex Assemblies
- Experience with noise and vibration control of equipment
- Material Processing Knowledge (Machining and Fabrication)
- Knowledge of Industry Standards (Military, ASTM, SAE, etc.)
- Proficiency with a Solid Modeling Program (SolidWorks Preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self-starter, motivated, and action-oriented individual
