Job Description
Cuso International is seeking a Gender Advisor for a 6-month placement in Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Suriname, serving as a Volunteer Placement with the National Conversation Trust Funds (NCTF). The role focuses on strengthening gender-responsive monitoring and evaluation procedures and capacity building of staff, particularly for women’s rights organizations. This is a critical component of a Cuso project aimed at enhancing local government’s ability to adapt climate change mitigation in vulnerable communities.
Requirements
- University degree in social/political sciences, international development, human rights, gender studies, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in promoting gender equality, diversity, or women's development.
- Experience working with government agencies and senior management.
- Experience in training and facilitation.
