College Advisor

The College Advisor will assist students and parents throughout the college application process, educate and counsel them on college selection, application, admission, financial aid and scholarship processes, and provide structured guidance and feedback on applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-3 years of College Advising related experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, high energy, and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment with close attention to detail
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion and to serving the needs of a diverse community
• Ability to manage and maintain strict confidentiality
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with Naviance, or a similar platform, preferred
• Willingness and ability to travel as required
