The Dean of Residential Life is responsible for developing and managing the school's residential education efforts, coordinating support for residential faculty, and promoting student safety, wellbeing, and adherence to student life policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 5-7 years of residential life experience
- Ability to develop meaningful relationships with students and adult members of the community
- Strong commitment to inclusion and cultural competency
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage, and sensitivity to, highly confidential information
- Strong technology skills, including MS Office
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion and to serving the needs of a diverse community
- Ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize work in fast-paced environment accurately and efficiently
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
